What a Cloud VPS is
A Cloud VPS is a share of a physical server, run as a KVM virtual machine with its own kernel, memory and disk. You choose the plan, the location and the operating system on the order page and pay; the server is then built automatically, and its address and login appear in your client area.
Plans differ in processor cores, memory, storage and traffic. Standard plans share processor cores fairly between the servers on a host; dedicated-vCPU plans reserve the cores for your server.
The order page prices every plan from the same live catalogue that bills the order, so the price you see is the price on the invoice; 5% tax is added and shown at checkout.
What it does not mean
- Not managed: you administer the server yourself, unless you choose a managed plan.
- Not backed up: ClientVPS does not back up servers unless a backup service is included in the plan.
- Not unmetered: each Cloud VPS plan has a monthly traffic allowance, shown on the plan.

How soon is a Cloud VPS ready?
It is built automatically once your payment is confirmed. If the build fails, our team finishes it and your payment stays on the order.
Can I choose the operating system?
Yes. The order page lists the operating systems available for each plan and location, such as Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux, and you can reinstall later from the client area.
Is the traffic unlimited?
No. Each Cloud VPS plan includes a monthly traffic allowance of … to … TB, depending on the plan and location. If you expect to need more, ask us before you reach it.
Is yearly billing cheaper?
Yes. Quarterly billing is 5% cheaper than monthly and yearly billing is 15% cheaper. Add-ons such as larger DDoS protection are not discounted.
