No identity documents, but not anonymous
You can open an account, order servers and pay without sending identity documents. ClientVPS keeps what it needs to run your services and protect accounts: your e-mail address, a hashed password, IP addresses and an activity log. The Privacy Policy lists what is kept and who it is shared with.
What it does not mean
- Not anonymous: no documents are needed, but IP addresses are recorded, gateways see your e-mail address and domain registrations need real details.
- Not outside the law: the Terms of Service and the law of the server's country apply.
Not to be confused with
- No KYC
- KYC (know your customer) means checking identity documents. ClientVPS does not ask for them, which is not the same as anonymity.
