In short
ClientVPS offshore VPS plans are virtual servers in privacy-focused locations that the ClientVPS team sets up after payment. Every plan has a 1 Gbps port, except a few Hong Kong China-route plans (10 to 50 Mbps). Traffic is unmetered in Moldova, Panama, Ukraine and Russia and on the offshore service plans, and comes with a monthly allowance in Iran, UAE, Hong Kong and Bahrain.

What an offshore VPS is
Offshore plans are for customers who want a server in a particular jurisdiction, or with unmetered traffic. Unlike the Cloud VPS plans, they are not built automatically: after you pay, the ClientVPS team sets the server up and the login appears in your client area.
The same Terms of Service apply in every location. What you host must be legal in the country where the server is located, and some uses are not allowed anywhere, such as malware, spam and attacks on other systems.
What it does not mean
- Not instant: these servers are set up by our team, so they take longer than Cloud VPS plans.
- Not outside the law: the Terms of Service and the law of the server's country still apply.
- Unmetered is not unlimited speed: the port is 1 Gbps.
Not to be confused with
- Offshore
- Here: a server in a country chosen for its legal or privacy environment, often outside the customer's own country. It does not mean outside all law.
- DMCA-ignored
- Shorthand for: complaints are handled under the law of the country where the server is located, not under another country's takedown rules. Court orders from the server's country are still followed.

Which offshore plans have unmetered traffic?
The plans in Moldova, Panama, Ukraine and Russia, and the plans on the offshore service pages (offshore, DMCA-ignored, anonymous, Bitcoin, managed, MikroTik, Windows RDP, Warez and SMTP). Plans in Iran, UAE, Hong Kong and Bahrain have a monthly allowance shown on the plan.
Is everything allowed on an offshore VPS?
No. Malware, phishing, spam, attacks on other systems, child sexual abuse material and the other uses listed in section 7 of the Terms of Service are not allowed on any service, in any location.
